Upcoming Workshops
SOWINS is providing specialized services to female victims of violence and abuse who are wanting to move ahead with their lives.
These relevant and interesting workshops focus on healing, life skills and pre training or pre-employment topics.
The structure and content is very similar to the former Bridging program that SOWINS offered from 2009 to 2012.
The workshops run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9 to 12 and Thursday 1 to 3.
Supports are provided to those who need them to assist with accessing the services. Daycare assistance, Transportation support - gas coupons or bus tickets - and lunch is provided for the Thursday all day sessions.
